The first full day in Sassnitz was spent walking to the Königstuhl. There were two ways to get there by foot. Either along the beach or through the forest. We took the beach option which I think was a mistake. Walking on a pebble beach for what seemed like a lot longer than it was is not easy going. We arrived at the Königstuhl just in time to catch the last bus home which took twelve minutes.
