Two images, both made up from four stitched pictures, taken one after the other, the same settings applied to both in photoshop, with only one difference in the camera settings. Which one do you prefer? The first or the second image?

Scarlet Ibis
"The Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus ruber) is a species of ibis in the bird family Threskiornithidae. It inhabits tropical South America and islands of the Caribbean. In form it resembles most of the other twenty-seven extant species of ibis, but its remarkably brilliant scarlet colouration makes it unmistakable."

Crepuscular Rays
I have been waiting for this for a while, and to be honest I am not happy with the outcome...I am sure last year, when I didn't have a camera, these scenes looked a lot better...but that may be just wishful thinking...
I like this definition from Wikipedia:
"Crepuscular rays (also known as God's rays), in atmospheric optics, are rays of sunlight that appear to radiate from a single point in the sky, specifically, where the sun is."

Sabotage...a tribute
An awesome tribute to Adam "MCA" Yauch of the Beastie Boys who passed away on May 4, 2012. Sabotage has always been one of my favourite music videos, mainly becuase it is so ridiculous and it looks like so much fun...

Rain on Kali...
After the lightning on May 2nd in Leipzig, we were left with just the rain...a lot of rain...I felt a little safer taking these pictures without the fear of being jolted with electricity, but was still hanging out of a fourth floor window to get a better view...my heart always goes out to people who are caught out on their bikes...

Safety Not Guaranteed trailer
"Three magazine employees head out on an assignment to interview a guy who placed a classified ad seeking a companion for time travel."
There is something very cool about "time travel" at the moment. It seems to be the in thing...or maybe I watch too much Doctor Who and Fringe...I have a mixed feeling about this trailer...on the surface it seems like a cool idea, man places an ad in the paper looking for a companion to time travel with, man gets infiltrated by a magazine writer out for a story...etc etc
start to piece together the story from the trailer and this could this turn out to be yet another romantic comedy with a nerdy/geeky slant on it...which isn't so promising...
